Putaway

If you have rights related to Putaway, clicking the Putaway button from the main menu will run the RF Putaway program.

Pallet Number

You can scan the pallet number barcode into the Pallet Number textbox, or click the Pallet button to choose from a list of pallets that have just been checked in and are pending putaway.

[Find Location] Button

If you typed in the pallet number, you can click the Find Location button to let the WMS find a putaway location for the pallet. This location will be shown in the Suggested Location textbox.

The Find Location action is also performed if you type in the pallet number and press the <Enter> key, or scan a pallet number barcode (the barcode scanner will append an <Enter> key to its output, thus triggering the Find Location action automatically after the scanned text is sent to the textbox).

[Putaway] Button

Although a putaway location is suggested, the program allows you to putaway the pallet to another location other than the one proposed.

Enter the actual location that the pallet is putaway to into the Actual Location textbox, and then click the Putaway button.

The putaway action is also triggered when you press the <Enter> key after typing the location in the Actual Location textbox, or scan the location's barcode (the barcode scanner will append an <Enter> key to the scanned output which will trigger the putaway action).

[Pallet Contents] Menu Button

If a pallet number is shown in the Pallet Number textbox, clicking the Pallet Contents menu button will display the item contents of the pallet.

You can scroll rightwards to see more information fields such as qty, UOM, item description etc.

Alternately, you can highlight an item from the grid and then tick the Det checkbox on the top right. This will show the contents of the highlighted line vertically downwards.
